Tri-State STEM+M Families,

The Tri-State STEM+M Board of Education has elected to make changes to the current facial covering guidelines. Beginning Tuesday, February 22nd, the use of facial coverings will be optional for all students, staff, and visitors in our school building. However, it is strongly recommended that individuals continue to wear facial coverings while inside the building.

Following guidance from ODH, direct contacts, regardless of vaccination status, will be required to wear a facial covering for 10 days if they wish to remain in a classroom setting. You can reference the ODH "Mask to Stay /Test to Play" guidance here for further information.

The TSS Board also wants to stress the importance of continuing to follow COVID-19 protocols such as individual hygiene, social distancing as much as possible, and most importantly self-screening before coming to the building for school or events.

Along with the information above, the Board is requiring that every student and parent review and submit a self-screening acknowledgment form that can be found here. One acknowledgment form per student is needed.

Tri-State STEM+M Board of Education reserves the right to reissue the facial covering requirement based on federal, state, or local mandates, and/ or for any specific event including but not limited to, outbreaks within the school.

Respectfully,

Joshua Joseph
