Future Students
Current Students
The mission of the school is to inspire all students to achieve personal excellence, pursue world class STEM+M education, and become self-directed, life-long learners.
We believe all students should be empowered to direct their future and achieve personal success by providing world class STEM+M education using transdisciplinary instruction in a nontraditional learning environment which enables students to be goal-orientated, well-rounded, college and career ready citizens.
We also like to hold our students to the standard of a RAVEN as a way to guide them.
At Tri-State STEM+M High School, we are dedicated to providing our students with the best opportunities to excel in STEM fields. Over the summer, we are proud to partner with GRIT and the Bear Tracks program at Shawnee State University to enhance our students' learning experiences and foster their growth in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
GRIT (Growing Regional Innovation and Talent): GRIT is a comprehensive initiative designed to nurture innovation and talent in our region. By collaborating with GRIT, our students gain access to cutting-edge resources, mentorship from industry professionals, and hands-on projects that prepare them for future STEM careers.
Bear Tracks Program: The Bear Tracks program at Shawnee State University offers a dynamic summer experience focused on STEM education. Students participate in immersive workshops, laboratory experiments, and field trips, all aimed at deepening their understanding of STEM concepts and applications.
Through this partnership students gain real-world experience by participating in projects and experiments that allow them to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings, with exposure to current technologies and methodologies that prepare them for future academic and professional challenges. This partnership also supports academic and career preparation by building a strong foundation in STEM subjects, enhancing readiness for higher education, and opening doors to internships, scholarships, and future career prospects through networking opportunities with professionals and peers.
