Students may participate in a Dress Down Day tomorrow, Tuesday, October 20, for $5. All money raised will be donated to Solida Baptist Church to thank them for providing free bus transportation for our field trips. We understand that $5 may seem high for a dress-down day. Although the church provides transportation at no cost to our school, it comes with significant expenses. Your contribution helps us show our appreciation for their generosity and continued support of our students!

Hello, Tri-State STEM families! Parent–teacher conferences will be held this Thursday, October 8th, from 9 AM to 6 PM, with 15-minute appointment slots. Please call Miss Rachel at the school to sign up. If all slots fill and additional appointments are needed, we will extend conference hours. As a reminder, there is no school for students on Thursday, October 8, or Friday, October 9. Homecoming is Saturday, October 17! Tickets are $20 and are on sale now through October 14. Marshall College Fair Trip Tomorrow, our juniors and seniors (and a few others) will be traveling to Marshall University to attend a college fair from 9:30 AM–12:30 PM. Students may pack a lunch or bring money to purchase lunch while on campus. Students need to wear their MU polos. ⚠️ Students must register for the college fair using the link posted in the Raven News section of Google Classroom. We’re excited for our students to explore college opportunities and connect with colleges and universities!

Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 23rd is our monthly Early Release Day! Student pickup will begin at 1:00 PM, and all students must be picked up by 2:00 PM. Thank you for your cooperation! Please note: the board meeting has been canceled tomorrow, but we still have early release.

In honor of Patriot Day, students may wear red, white, and blue apparel tomorrow. They may also wear red, white, and blue hats. We will observe a moment of silence during our morning meeting as we remember and honor those affected by the events of September 11, 2001. 🇺🇸

💦 Water Day Reminder! 💦 Families, today is Water Day after lunch! Students should bring a towel and an extra change of clothes so they have something dry to change into afterwards. We're looking forward to a fun day to wrap up our week!

Marshall CCP Textbook Update Hello Tri-State STEM Marshall CCP students and families. We have an important update regarding Marshall University textbooks. Marshall University has transitioned its bookstore from Follett Bookstore to Barnes & Noble College. Because of this transition, student bookstore accounts will not be active until Friday. Please do not attempt to log in before then. Beginning Friday, visit marshall.bncollege.com and log in using your Marshall University email address and password—the same login you use for MyMU. Before ordering: Students must check with Principal West to see if we already have a hard copy of the required textbook available at school or if we can from Amazon. This does not apply to required digital access codes. When ordering online, select Campus Store Accounts at checkout and enter your Marshall Student ID number. If renting a textbook, a credit or debit card may be required to remain on file for the rental agreement, but you will not be charged for the required textbook. Students may also obtain their books in person at the Marshall University bookstore using their Marshall Student ID number. Because Marshall classes began Monday, please email your professor and CC Principal West regarding the textbook delay. Principal West will work with you to ensure you are not penalized due to the bookstore transition. Detailed step-by-step ordering instructions have been emailed and posted on our flyer. Thank you for your patience as we work through this transition!

Tomorrow is the Kings Island reward trip for students who met the Attendance, Behavior, and Coursework requirements.
Important Information:
• We will leave the school promptly at 7:00am. Please have students at the school between 6:30am and 6:45am for check-in and loading.
• We expect to return at approximately 1:00am.
• Kings Island is cashless. Students will need a debit/credit card or digital payment option if they would like to purchase anything additional.
• Students will receive admission plus a Premium Dining Package, which includes food and drinks approximately every 90 minutes throughout the day.
• There is a chance of rain tomorrow. Please send students with a rain jacket or poncho.
• If students would like to rent a locker, that expense will be their responsibility.
• The waterpark is open, and students are permitted to attend. Please make sure students dress appropriately and bring anything they may need.
We are looking forward to a fun and rewarding trip for our students!

Families, We now have a confirmed time for tomorrow’s Spare Time event! Students may attend from 2:00pm–4:00pm. Students will be able to participate in bowling, skating, and laser tag. Pizza, drinks, and snacks will also be provided. Students do not need to bring money unless they would like to purchase something additional from the concession stand. The school will still be open tomorrow starting at 7:00am for students who need or would like to come in to work on missing assignments or exams. Mrs. West will be available from 8:00am–1:00pm to help sophomores and juniors review any remaining graduation credits. Transportation to and from Spare Time can be provided if needed. Students may also report directly to Spare Time at 2:00pm and be picked up at 4:00pm. We hope to see everyone there!

Gold Studio will be at the school tomorrow, Thursday, April 23, at 10:00 a.m. for picture retakes for students who would like retakes and for students who enrolled after fall picture day. Any senior who still needs a headshot may also have their picture taken. Senior headshots are mandatory, but families are not required to purchase them.

Our Alice @ Wonderland theatre performances will be held Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:00 p.m. Doors will open each evening at 6:00 p.m. You do need to reserve your seats using our Google Form.
